Since her mother is a doctor that works at home, Ellie was taught to read from medical books. Now that she's older, she browses through them for fun. She has knowledge of most medical terms and knows First Aid. She also knows which bones are located where, and their names. If you someone gets a sprained ankle- Ellie's the one they should turn to. However, she will ask that they go try to see a doctor first, as she doesn't trust herself sometimes.

Family:

Dr. Linda Karters is not only Ellie's doctor, but her mother, she owns her own private practice. Most of the time she is at home, since disease rarely hits around the town they live in. She is very strict on her daughter, in a tough love type of way. She herself wasn't allowed a pet until she was out on her own, so when she gave Ellie Jaws, everyone was shocked.

Rhett Karters is Ellie's father. While Ellie was in the hospital, Rhett didn't come home often. He'd stay the night at the preschool he worked at, to avoid the dark empty home that haunted his nightmares. Linda and Rhett had a fight over this, but they are still together, and Rhett is finally sleeping at home again. He owns and works at the preschool, now known as "Karter's Kiddy Quarters!".

Ellie's mother's family originates if Faerieland, so she visits there often.

Ellie makes everything worth it. Give her 5 NP, she'll go out and make 5,000 NP. Ever since she had a near-death experience due to a VirtuPet attack, everyone will tell you she's different. It's like she's a different girl. She savors every minute of every day, every last drop. You'll never see her just lazing around; she's always running about, feeding her pets, earning neopoints, or being with friends. She feels like everything is her responsibility, she needs to be fixing everything, helping everyone and doing everything possible at every moment of the day. Every once and a while she will quiet down though, after a spurt of excitement most likely, and she will surround herself with petpets. She finds them to be comforting and interesting.

Ellie is extremely dedicated to causes. She'll be at Organ Donor marches 'till three in the morning if she can-or she'll be storming the hall of the Chia Police's headquarters, screaming that the Freezing penalty is too harsh. But Ellie is anything but perfect, as she has a less human streak to her, making her look vicious and monstrous.

When she was little- a Spyder bit her very hard, and taught her to fear anything smaller than a Neopet. The fear developed into a hate, so now, she'll torture petpetpets for fun, dumping a bucket of water on a Flankin, or squeezing a Flankin and a Fleaf together. She's the same way with small petpets and rodent-sized Neopets. (She likes to see them squirm.)

Ellie is very intelligent. She fails tests occasionally, but passes more often.

She also likes to stand out and make people look at her. If people know who you are- you are doing the right thing. She'll wear weird things to make people glance at her, and act even more strange so people continue to look at her. (She'll start giggling at pathetic jokes, or make bad jokes and then start laughing about them.)

If Ellie sees something against the laws of Neopia, she will put her foot down on it. She will not sit idly by, because Brother tells her that she must delete the error.

Appearance:

She is 5" 2 and somewhere around 95 lb. She has deep brown eyes, of which are usually surrounded by bright-but-odd eye make-up. For instance, she's been known to wear bright pink eyeliner and purple eye shadow. She has puffy lips, they're naturally a dark pink, but she usually wears blue lip gloss. Her face is heart shaped; she has small ears and a cleft chin.

Before the VirtuPet attack, Ellie was very flexible and strong. She was on the cheerleading squad along with Layla. As a hobby, she took on gymnastics. She wasn't serious with it, but she did it often. After the attack, she got better, but she isn't in cheerleading condition anymore. She's hoping to get better. She's still strong (due to physical therapy) and is practicing gymnastics once again.

When the attack occurred, some of her hair got stuck in gears on different bicycles. Since it would easier for them to take her to the hospital room, they cut her hair off. When she was revived, she asked that all her hair be shaved off instead of being uneven. So now, she's bald. At first she was ashamed of it, but now she flaunts her baldness. She gets a lot of attention from it.

Pets:

Tetzii Species : Lutari Colour : Red Gender : Male Description: Tetzii was a gift from Ellie's father and she received him when she first came home after the attack. Tetzii is the equivalent to a baby. Ellie will not do anything to hurt Tetzii, as he is her pet. If he was somebody else's, she would do experiments on him and such. Tetzii looks up to Jaws as his father and Ellie his mother. Tetzii attends Mr. Karter's preschool.

SteeleJaws_San Species : Gelert Colour : Yellow Gender : Male Description: Jaws is a gift from Ellie's mom when she was first revived at the hospital. Jaws is protective of her, and will do anything he can to keep her away from danger. He is very much attached to Ellie and would do anything for her. He cares for her. He is the equivalent to a teenager that attends the pet section of Tyrannia High. Jaws's best friend is Ellie. He couldn't think of life in any other way than with Ellie.

Nothing too dramatic happened in Ellie's past. None of her relatives died, no one got hurt. Well... no one but Ellie. When she was 14, there was a VirtuPet attack, and she got hurt really bad. (A collection of bikes was thrown on her and a bike-drawn cart too. Not to mention the 2 VirtuPets that attacked her.)

She was rushed off to the hospital. Her mother and father stood by, hoping that their only child would pull through. Finally, in her darkest hour, Ellie slipped away. She was pronounced dead.

With the help of surgeons, she was brought back. When all hope was thought to be lost for the Karters, it was back. After lots of exercise and eating healthy foods, she started healing. But she was different now. She wasn't the same type of girl, she was different. She didn't like the same things; she didn't have the same tastes. She was vaguer and even a bit crazier in the medical tense.

She is still in this state of getting over the attack, and her mother and father have both agreed that "brother" is just her asking her conscience things, since her brain is hard at work and she just needs clarity sometimes. They will never say that their little girl is mentally sick; even if she is.

Brother:

Brother is the dark side of Ellie's mind. Brother will rarely ever tell her the right thing, and can not answer factual questions, nor will brother ever give someone else but Ellie a straight answer if asked. (For ex. Dr. Linda would ask Brother, "do you like that, Brother?" so Ellie would not have to repeat it, but instead, Ellie would answer, "Brother doesn't like things that Brother can not posses.") Brother will never speak up at school, since Ellie doesn't need Brother there. Brother isn't good at memorizing facts, so there is no reason for Ellie to ask Brother for help. Ellie has never specified Brother's gender or place of origin, so it is suspected that Brother is a state of mind, or like Ellie's parents think, her conscience in a clearer view. Most of Ellie's peers do not know that Brother exists. When Ellie's parents asked why, brother vaguely stated, "They do not need." When Ellie was asked to elaborate, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know why Brother says such things. Brother just feels a need to, and thus, I can't make it clearer." Brother doesn't interfere with Ellie's Sailor Neopet status, as Brother doesn't know that Ellie is a Sailor Neopet.

Dreams:

Ellie's goal is to take back her control over her mind (kick Brother out). It's very hard to accomplish, and to do so, she needs to be aware of everything happening at all times. When she grows up, she hopes to be a doctor like her mom, but also a leading scientist. Then she wants to find a cure to all the diseases in Neopia- cheap cures. Stuff everyone can afford so everyone can be healthy and equal.

Fears:

Ellie is completely scared to death of Roller Coasters. She doesn't know what it is about them-- she just can't stand them. Mention roller coasters and she'll shudder.
